Any tips on getting a loaner for the subframe recall replacement?

This is my daily driver. I wish the dealer was more generous with a loaner.
I left the car at the dealer and got this time estimate:
- It will take five days to get repair authorization from Mercedes.
- Then it will take another two to four weeks to get the replacement part(s.)
- Only then can I get a loaner while they perform the repair.

I tried calling Mercedes customer support. I believe I got a bad representative from the customer support queue who messed up my request/case. The rep stated that I would get a call back in the next two days.
I called back on the third day. This rep was better. My original case was "coded incorrectly" so they were never going to call. With a fixed case I must wait another two days for the case to be processed.
He told me that dealers set loaner policies. All MB corporate can do is potentially provide financial compensation, likely to reimburse for a rental car. I couldn't get specifics on others' outcomes.
I mentioned the scope of this recall. Other customers must be in my same situation. The rep could not tell me typical outcomes.
I'm thankful that this manufacturer defect did not cause an accident, but I'm without my daily driver for three to six weeks.
I'm thankful that it is getting repaired under warranty, but know that this isn't due to MB's generosity. Many people had to deal with years of MB's denying that there is a problem.
The car is 13 years old now. It has more days behind it than it has ahead of it.
