clearing dpf dirt
Please excuse my lack of knowledge here on this topic. i have had issues with my w212 dpf and it was turned off and taken off the engines computer (i think is the right way of describing) and the insides removed so it will no longer clog up. i do still have soot building up on the exhausts I have been told I still need to regenerate it (if this makes sense) by revving the engine while driving as i am doing a lot of short journeys. can anyone help direct me how i can rev the engine while driving in an automatic car.
thanks
G
It's a diesel. You removed the soot filter and now you're surprised that you have soot building up on the exhaust tips? What am I missing here?

Enjoy not worrying about crap failing on ya and wash your car once in a while.

SCR is independent system, so it is different story if applies.
Since you deleted DPF, you will have soot accumulating on the rear of the vehicle. This is normal thing.
I did have DPF delete on my W212 Bluetec and being white car, having soot on the rear of it was annoying.
I reversed the process with AEM and now with working DPF have clean car and clean lungs.

Sounds like you are in country, where they don't do smog, but more and more agencies are after illegal modifications. This is 1 of the latest.
