Why not make it look current with the verticall bars or the field of star dots...
I custom built the car with its hood emblem comfort trim

You already removed the standing Mercedes-Benz logo but I would prefer the old one more correctly the old grill would edge the new grill

IMHO dont think the standing logo on these 212s looks as good as earlier models, I would go for the old grill but without the emblem in it. Just the emblem on the hood with a smooth grill old style. Dont think thats possible without modifications and money.
