New Wagon owner
Been on the hunt for an E350 wagon for a few months. Not a show car this is going to be a driver so I didn’t want to pay crazy prices.
got a 2014 wagon. Loaded up with just about every option
Being a used car it had some issues. I’ve managed to work thru some of them, got a couple questions.
1- didn’t notice during test drive, but the AC light would not go out on HVAC controls. Got a used setup off eBay. Fixed that problem but I’ve read something about needing to relearn the stepper motors? I tested quickly in the garage and it seems to work but just wondering if I can do a relearn myself?
2- car only came with one key. I stopped by the closest MB dealer yesterday and they quoted me $800 for a key!?!? I don’t remember exact price but something like $550 for the key, an hour label to program, and they had to order the “blade” emergency little keyinside the key which was like another $150. Is this normal or is my dealer crazy expensive? When I searched I saw guys getting keys for like $200-300? Should I try another dealer?

Congrats,
I'm a sedan guy but I like the way your wagon looks .
As for your issues with the car
1- I am not experienced with that
2- Yes, mine was reprogrammed as well. Well, price was something like $ 750 . The mechanical key was provided me later price was same as yours .It's not cheap but dealer prices are not cheap at all .
