Headlight/marker issue

I'm getting two errors on my left headlight. 2014 model with standard LED. First is a communication fault with the suspension module, and the other is side marker light output short to ground. The marker light works. I'm assuming these signals both go through the same connector and will just need cleaning. Does anybody have the wiring diagrams for this?

EASY....

-1- I have the same LED setup with the same fault from mis-matched software that is looking for suspension module.

MB TSB says to disregard this... to fix it youll need to update HL to a later firmware and hope for less bugs.

-2- Your second issue is internal and more of a concern most likely "stored".

Since you say it works, it is a transient created by the painted GND post nearby or ignore it until you can't. Nothing too fancy right now.

LED power regulation better have good GND... on the flip side cooked LED issue are not prevalent.

Unfortunately the code is stored and current. I cleared it with my Foxwell and it came back. Very good news regarding the suspension communication issue.

So, I tried a hail mary and it worked. I pulled the fuse for the headlight with the battery still connected and replaced it. Code is now staying cleared. I still get the suspension code, i'll see if the dealer can flash an update.

That's all good news.
Let me know if your dealer can update your HL mismatched software or instead says "Just ignore it".

Like you I understand the buggy HL keeps swarming the F-SAM with junk packets... factory quality!

This may well be what's making SAM unstable (Reboot!)
