Hello. The rear view mirror disconnected from the overhead console on my 2012 E350 Cabriolet Convertible. I cannot figure out how to reconnect it. All online guidance seems to be for a different style mirror. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Attached are a few photos of the style of mirror. Thank you.

Too bad my mirror is of different attachment model. Its a bi-etch to re-insert due to massive spring pressure on the aluminum locking plate.
.

Take a careful look at your mirror here : https://www.ebay.com/itm/255638161027
Often slowly looking at Ebay high resolution image can help us figure out attachment points.

Good luck.

Wow, your mirror seems to be turn to remove/install and not simple push up click-click like mine with the alumimun plate.

Similar to yours :

Thank you.
Thank you! I did not realize that the little circular plate pops off the mirror arm, exposing the clips. That plate then probably glues to the window, then clip the mirror back onto the bracket plate. That was the part I was missing. Thanks again.
