Question What is this white crap near my injection nozzle ? Car smoking like teenage burnouts

2012 E350 Bluetec
My car has been smoking pretty awful when stopped but I can never catch it when I have a moment to look under it, however today I found what looks like to be the problem. Worth note, I did use some AT-205 to stop a gasket leak a while back, but this doesn't appear to have anything to do with that(I Include this just in case this is what that stuff does & that's what this is). Sorry for the not so great photos, it's really tight up the car and this was the best I could do tonight. I scraped all this stuff off but I am concerned something has failed and needs to be replaced. I am hoping maybe this is a fix I can tackle but I'm not even sure of the problem yet. There is a clamp covered in the white stuff, it looks like #12 here: https://www.mbpartscenter.com/v-2012...ion-components I am thinking of ordering the injector gasket and replacing it. Injector Seal - Mercedes-Benz (207-492-00-00)

What does everyone think? Is that DEF fluid leaking out/crystalizing? Anyone have this problem before?

It would help if you identified your car by more than just E350. Do you have a Diesel? Where are you from?

My apologies, it's been a long day! That would be helpful. 2012 E350 Bluetec, USA/FL

Have you scanned your car for codes using a Mercedes-specific scanner? Don't waste time or money on generic OBD scanners.

That's what I did. Just hoping someone else had this problem and can tell me if replacing the gasket worked for them. Not really interested in spending $500 bucks on injection nozzle itself.

Just add the cars you want individually from the Mall. Toyota and Lexus are combined into one program, and Honda and Acura in another.

Amazon Amazon

Or gow with this:

Amazon Amazon

Whatever you go with, get something specific for Mercedes, not some cheap generic OBD scanner.

Cool didn't know that you just added programs from the mall. I bought this first one. Thanks!

Thanks!

That's your adblue injector. Looks like there's a leaky joint. If you have a Benz dealer close by, bring it to them and let 'em fix it for free under the AEM warranty.

Edited to add: Does nobody read what's under avatars?

I go back under the car tonight to see if I could improve the situation, I didn't have all my tools available (Just moved) but I do now.

I thought that might be the case but there's a small dent in my exhaust and I'm sure they would use any reason NOT to cover it. If it starts doing it again I will absolutely bring it to them, if nothing else to see what they say. I had an awful experience during that whole emissions thing and I haven't been back to a dealer since. I never got paid, I lost my car for nearly 3 months, no loaner and the only reason I got it back was I made a big freaking deal on this forum and finally order/paid/shipped them the parts "they couldn't locate" in 15 minutes with google. MB has a lot of work to do to gain me as a consumer again. I bought a brand new Lexus shortly after that whole fiasco and if the E350 didn't get 34MPG on the HW and ride nice, it would have been gone a long time ago.
