Hazard warning lamps malfunction
i removed the head unit on my w212 to fit apple car play, installation went well but
during the install I pulled on the jack plug and attached wires too much the serve the hazard switch bank and have since had no power or functionality to the hazard switch bank...I have tried to trace the wires back but they enter a larger loom of wires...my assumption is that I have pulled these wire out further back......does anyone know the route of these wires ?? Or any other suggestions for repair ??

Scan and reset the car faults.
The F-SAM module is in charge of the blinkers functionality. From there you can toggle things for testing.
You don't need to spend time tracing where harness goes before you know what you're after finding - If scanner massage doesn't rejoice your chassis then schematic probing will be necessary.
>> A picture of what you're looking at would be useful !!! (every MB's made differently with the same recipes).
I believe on my W212 version, "blinkers" are part of a LIN MODULE... I have resoldered that button module:
Row of (blinker + seat heater,... ) buttons
So with the above, your testing is now easier!
Are all buttons useless or just the blinkers being quiet ??

The electrical jack plug that has 3 wires attached to the switch bank at first only first only came out 5cm from central console....now it comes out 15cm.
thats why I fear I have pulled the 3 supply wires out further back.
Where do they go any drawings

These short wires now being long are a perfect lead.
If you can't see where they are broken inside the harness bundle... do a bypass patching near the source.
Inspect the connector solder on the button module... it got seriously pulled by cable tugging.
