Mixing coolant with transmission oil caused transmission issues
I am using MB E 250 ,2010 year model, I have recently replaced a damaged radiator due to a leak of coolant, which caused a mix-up of coolant and transmission oil. i have changed transmission oil, thermostat, oil filter and gasket.
Car service team told me they have flushed many times to remove the mix, I dont if it is still exist or not. In the meantime, I am using water instead of coolant. I am still experiencing transmission issues, my transmission is rough from 3rd gear. I don't know how to resolve this.

If you have water in your transmission, and you have transmission issues now and before you fix this. That mean your transmission have mechanical problems because longtime run with water.
Go with new transmission or rebuil it. Good luck.

@afyjaslam Your transmission needs to be rebuild. New clutches, steels, bonded pistons, reman torque converter and the solenoids also need to be replaced.
