Keyless-GO 1 door not working

2012 E350 4Matic with Keyless Go option. This feature has worked flawlessly until.... I hit a nasty pothole and got a Front left (drivers side) flat tire. After tire replace wether related or unrelated the front passenger door keyless-go no longer works to lock or unlock the door. It as if the the door handle sensor is no longer communicating, all 3 of the other handle receivers work still no problem.

Any ideas how I can go about getting this working again? All help appreciated thank you.

You are saying "door" what I would understand the lock is not working?
Or is it handle receiver?
Either way, I would suspect that the impact loosen some cables, so opening the door might be in order.

It is the actual handle receiver that is not working, I will edit OP. Glad you were still able to understand what I intended and as I mentioned further I believe it is the handle sensor.
The lock mechanism by fob or by interior buttons still functions as it should. The door opens and closes with full functionality. Could recommend a location of wires that may have come loose? I will inspect, thank you

car vs. pothole

without a scanner you don't want to waste time guessing when unnecessary.

Find out what your keyless and door modules report.

I ve just had similar experience driving through road construction: that wasted my 4x front ball joints plus a bent rim.

I am debating about replacement control arms:
  • Genuine MB
  • Lemforder
  • Mevotech
short lived parts benefit free replacements!
