cylinder bank 1 us too low. help.

Hey Everyone,

I just bought myself this mercedes e 250. But it shows me an engine light regarding code P049100 which says "P049100 - The air flow of secondary air system (cyclinder bank 1) is too low". Can anyone help regarding fixing this issue. Thanks.

The secondary air injection system is used during starting the engine when cold to accelerate heating up the catalytic converter by injecting air into the exhaust stream. I don't know where the secondary air pump is on your engine, but that is the likely culprit.
