RF ILS headlight intermittent fault

RF ILS headlight intermittent fault
Hi guys, random-intermittent rf headlight fault, E2N9 Rf headlight code b178711 actuator motor headlight range short to ground. from what I see this is simply the up-down motor like high beam low beam as per xentry tests. this morning it set just starting car up in drive way. I ran through xentry diag tests of full sweeps of the headlighs and it won't set the fault. Seems a bit coincidental to programming ILS+ last fall but I haven't had the car too long.

any thoughts or pointers?

ILS binding
The actuator motor is known to like binding and needs to be lubed with high temp lubricant.
I have not delt with that personally.

I've been googling this and coming up dry on all fronts unfortunately. not finding anything mentioned about lubrication of something.
