Why is my M272 different?
quick question. Why is my M272 E350 engine different from the ones I see in videos and pictures. Was looking at some parts at the MB dealership and my engine does not have the big cam plug in the back, part 252. It is "grayed out" on the the kidsddd
picture attached, meaning that my particular engine does not have that part. I have also noticed that I dont have the part inside the blue circle on the picture attached.

What and where is this?

That round thingy your circle blue I believe is air injection.
You must get Mercedes EPC/WIS ebay version is OK and then you enter your car VIN number and 95% of the time your parts will then be correct.
It wont be 100% always accurate .... but you wont be totally lost.
It is located to the left of the oil filter housing when facing your engine block if equipped on your vehicle.

Here is the rear view of which I think yours looks like -> M272.977
and this is the one you seem to be expecting - > M272.972
Welcome to the MB LEGO game,

Was trying to change the PCV, and it looks like a piece of cake on the videos I have seen of others doing it on the M272, however the space around my PCV is too freaking thight to work on even with the smallest tools. I hate the fact that I can"t do a simple job like this myself because of the design on my particular M272. I tried to upload a video, but it did not work.

A possible help is to lift out the fake double-firewall to gain better working access.
Replace new HPFP + Roller is recommended but not mandatory... at least roller bearing is cheap and good insurance to preserve camshaft from grinding flat.

single HPFP... TT have dual pumps for twice the fun
Bad pump can cause lean but few other factors can cause lean... not just tired pump. Plugged up tank filter, lambda, plugs, injectors....
Diagnose pressures is always better than gambling with parts-canon, right?
