M276.8** 3.0 Turbo on W212 chassis & RWD - Oil Pan Removal Clearance

Gents,

Something to share, just in case you guys are as **** as I am on preventive maintenance, the dangerous & critical o-ring at oil pan baffle,
discussed here : https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...brication.html

Note my car is RWD and not 4-matic which is much more of a nightmare I am sure.
Also my oil pan is fatter/bigger at its rear, where it mated to tranny bell housing.

This is my oil pan design.

.
Clearance if based on forward part of oil pan needed to be lowered and then slide out towards car rear, I am short of 6CM.

.

The 9 CM hump is for oil pump.

I am wondering if it will safe to lift engine to +6 CM ( 2 of engine mounts removed ) and then loosening front subframe to drop it by -2CM like when others are doing engine mounts replacement
by way of dropping a bit the front subframe. So I have 8CM working space to slide out engine oil pan. Hopefully enough.

I estimated the angular twist will happen to my tranny mount and at the propeller shaft center bearing, but the degree is small.

ABOVE : Angle at tranny mount. BELOW : I can also loosen the U plate holding the tranny mount and drop it by -1 CM.

....

Angle at propeller shaft center bearing.

I can adjust/align the propeller shaft center bearing so the yoke will take the upward twist.
Perhaps the 2 bolts of center bearing holder ( item 7 ) I drop by 1 CM.

...
Dimensional reference

DAMN !!!! Tomorrow I will need to measure tranny tunnel clearance on car body to tranny casing and engine bell housing.
Can it take 6 CM of engine height uprising ?

Any useful tips will be appreciated.
