W212 Wrong date and time on Audio 50 APS
Good day, dear all. Please, I need your advise. Since I've bought my e-class, she shows me wrong time ( 3 minutes more ) in head unit and analog watch. After 9 years I've decided to solve this problem. At first I thought the problem on missing maps. But recently I've bought the latest update and nothing changed. Currently it shows me date 24.06.1966 ) tried to reset the whole system via xentry,but doesn't help. Eventually tried to reset most ring - nothing changed. Please, advise if somebody solved this problem. Cars 2011 y.o.b, 220 cdi . With best regards.

My guess is your car clock is telling you the correct time, and all your other devices are wrong.
My clock and Comand unit is bang on the money, and it should auto update every time we go to/from daylight saving time.
Disconnect battery for 15 minutes...

I’m surprised someone else has this issue!
I have the same specs, e220cdi with audio 50 APS from 2011. The time is like 4 minutes ahead (instead of 10:00 it’s 10:04 for example) and the date is something similar, can’t remember exactly the date, but the year is 1966 as you mentioned)
i disconnected the battery on different occasions but that did not help reset the time correctly.
also the change from /to DST does not happen automatically, I need to change it manually, as opposed to your car @DFWdude which I believe is from a later year, or at least, different specs.
my brother has the same car but form 2012/13 and it has different display(mine is classic yellow/black one, his is red/black, not to mention he has Bluetooth streaming , mine does not) and he doesn’t have any issues with the time.
I took it to the dealership a long time ago and they couldn’t fix it because something something, the time is synced to some satellite and they can’t manually overwrite the time ( except for modifying in those 30 minutes increments)
I just wanted to share what I know and be in the loop in case there actually is a fix
