ABS light

Recently had the front hubs replaced, a few days later the ABS light comes on… bring the car back to the dealership, told I needed new ABS wheel sensors, no problem.. replaced them all. Leave dealership… lights back on, bring it back told is the ABS control unit, sigh.. that’s a bit pricey… replaced then told it wasn’t the ABS Control unit… dealership says it’s the wheel hubs… we just replaced them… like you just replaced them 300km ago… get told I need to replace them to further troubleshoot… again they just replaced them. Sorry not covered for warranty work it’s over 30 days.. -_- Mercedes.. you’ve had my car for a few months… how is it not?

anyways anyone have any clue what could be the issue…

Sure sounds like someone at the dealership didn't really find the problem when the ABS light first came on. Is a 30-day warranty on factory parts a regular MB thing?

Sorry to hear of your problems.

Your car got a new ABS/ESP Module, new wheel tone-ring sensors at the dealership but still has exact same issue.....

Sorry to read about your poor experience getting dealer service.

We need to know what specific faults codes are acting up in your chassis.

At this stage I might guess it's simply the nearby painted GND post got enough road-spray,
or the main GND strap is making the whole car power supply glitchy.

Use a Xentry or Launch Elite scanner to survey your chassis condition.

Nightmare..

So I found the problem not the dealership…

New hub just installed a month ago.. But the dealership couldn’t figure out what the problem was… this was eaten up..

No idea why could have caused this..

What the jew ones look like I just Installed this evening by me.. via watching YouTube

I’m no mechanic.. but this took me just over an hour to replace..why the hell did I get charged 5 hrs when the shop installed them…

My bill for a month of troubleshooting and parts I didn’t need…

ABS magnetic ring

over $5000 for a bad hub ring is a bit high ...

service feedback channel

"The best and something..." :
I bet they could generously give you a free car wash with your next appointment.

What was wrong with the new dealer hub that you fixed properly yourself??
