4 types of Boroscope camera comparison

I just got 2 new ones.
So I want to show you guys its field of view, focus points and image quality.
Where it can be use best.
I have to start with a poor choice I made. So that you guys will not need to make the same mistake.
This is unbranded Articulating boroscope I bought from AliExpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...21ef1802zWfBPD
I choosen the 8.5mm version. The bigger the lens, the more zoom closer you get which is good at times but not all the time.
It is very cheap of course, because it has no display.
I failed to recognize something about this articulating boroscope.
01. Its "cable" super soft, meaning it wont stay "erected" like how a proper articulating boroscope is from Teslong.
This is no good if you need to use it at 90 degrees or perpendicular to ground level, the cable will limp.
So it is only BEST when used in cylinder bore, going down to 6 oclock and then the articulating front part can do its proper articulation.
This is how the cable should be, can do proper "erection" ...LOL
02. While 8.5mm is nice close up, it is not wide angle enough at times. In super tight crowded space with say 5 cm radius, the field of view is so narrow, it is not good to use.
03. Since it is a smartphone based Apps and use orientation, its image orientation is not good if seen on PC ( saved file ) with typical 16:9 aspect ratio display.
It is good when you see it portrait style on a smartphone tall screen but narrow.
04. The articulating adjustment does not have a lock, so you must keep your fingers on it at all times to keep the target.
The proper articulating boroscope like Teslong higher priced unit with its own screen, has some sort of a lock on the articulating adjustment knob or the knob has good resistance to stay put un-assisted.
Back to the low cost articulating AliExpress no brand.
Image quality is good even at 720p. This is with its articulating head 180 degrees or facing the sky.
This is dangling down, by gravity.

TEST SUBJECT. The room light I kept off during the test, to simulate dark engine bay.

Same 2cm, 3cm, 5cm adn 8 cm

==============
The single lens AutoFocus one. I only buy the camera head. This camera and its cable can only be used with the display which belongs to the new 360 degrees set NTS500.
I can't use it on my old dual lens NTS500.
Why the heck teslong keep the same NTS500 model designation ???? Could be confusing to some.
Same 2cm, 3cm, 5cm adn 8 cm focus and field of view test.

Above, me hand shake a bit. It can focus well at any distance.
This is the camera head only with the cable, no display.
END OF TEST for now...........
