My car is crazy. Help!!
So my w212 2011 with m271 engine has a critical problem
so when i was gonna enter my car all the lights were on including the high beams and fog lights.
When turning the key it has power but no prime and no crank
The dash says no abs, esp, automatic lights, tspm, 12 output
High beams are on and the fog lights too
Radio turns on
and the windows drops down a little bit when opening the doors and then goes up when closing a door and its a sedan
Tried everything that can be done on the spot like jumping the ground and disconnecting the battery
Ive had it to a mechanic but its gonna be sent away to a more advanced mechanin
I have a quite powerful soundsystem on around 180A at peak and it might have something to do with it
Im desperate

Okay, sorry your car got overwhelmed with all this chaos.
From here it sounds like water in the SAM is keeping lights ON but it can also be unrelated faults.
At any rate:
"an issue located near the front..."
You need to use a good scanner to list all chassis faults then troubleshoot from there.
Your sound system may or may not be an issue... simply disconnect the power feed until you get this resolved.

Usually when you get those messages with no esp no abs etc, it’s because of low battery voltage.I’ve seen this behavior on my car as well, everything has power but the car is not starting. But I was able to jump start the car though, unlike in your case… however I don’t quite understand what you mean by jumping the ground? You connected only the ground? Not both positive and negative (ground) terminals? Stupid question but just wanted to make sure 😅 did you measure the battery voltage when the car is off? Should be above 12v , normally it’s like 12.3-12.5V
no crank is also a symptom of bad esl , but when that happens, the car is not recognizing the key at all so no messages appear in the dash, nothing changes, no lights, no nothing… so I think you can rule this out.

I suspect water damage or infiltration, as well. Have you had a lot of rain in recent months? Feet the carpeting. Is it damp?
