This just happened today. Pissed to the bones. My W204 and GLK did not break then this happens. Before I call the stealership for a replacement I want to tackle this it. I know the clip just feel inside but I have not removed this entire assembly. I did the command knob repair on the W204 and that was a pain. Looking at fleebay I see the top portion is separate. Just wondering if anyone managed to remove the upper armwrest trim without removibg the entire console. If this happened before to you what did you do? Was something else broke at the back or it is just a matter of the clip unclipping itself?
