Missing/stolen part from car?
Hi, does anyone know what part is missing from my car? I've had this vehicle parked in my driveway for around 2-3 years. I've just lifted the hood to check on the battery, and I've noticed that a part is now missing. Does anyone know what part this is? I've attached a photo of my car and a reference photo of the missing part. Any help would be great.

its missing on mine.

I don't see any difference other than the engine cover with a missing Benz star set aside a bit. Which car is yours?

ECU "COVER" is part of the front cover...

+1... nothing appears to be missing!


"Parked for few years"... while we're here :
-- Don't use your car alternator to charge a flat battery. Use a CTEK float charger or equivalent.

-- Recharge/replace trunk AUX batt if it is flat to prevent it from blowing nearby 7.5A fuse.


my 276 pony.... my front cover is also removed

DISCONNECTED AIR DUCT....
BTW your intake air duct appears disconnected...

mine... connected

It's not terribly important besides the engine normally uses 60F fresh air and not 200F heated air... no big deal
