mysterious power steering leak?
Hi to all, I have a mystery power steering leak on my 2011 E350 4Matic... Here are the details... Discovered it leaking where the hose connects to the pump. Pulled everything apart and changed the o-ring, still leaked, went to Mercedes to get the exact o-ring changed it again, still leaking. Got a brand new hose from Mercedes, still leaking. Not pouring out but oozing out where the hose inserts into the pump. Not sure where to go from here, I checked the inside of the pump where the hose is inserted and everything feels and looks good, unless there's a hairline crack that I can't see. Is there anything else I should be looking for or testing? Some sort of blockage somewhere down the line, or is it possible that the pump is bad and pumping too much pressure and just weeping out of the weakest link, totally baffled on this one and would appreciate any and all help! BTW when cars running, steering seems fine and no abnormal whining noises coming from the pump or rack . Thank you to all in advance!
