What is this loose part near the engine? Is this cause for concern?

Mercedes C250, Jaguar S Type
What is this loose part near the engine? Is this cause for concern?



Popped the hood and noticed this loose connection. What part is this and is this cause for concern? I have a 4 hour road trip coming up in a week. 2014 Mercedes e350

It's part of the air intake duct. No problem. You can push it back on. You would have to remove it to change your air filter.

there's a chance your engine mounts are getting weak allowing the motor to move around too much.
Put engine in gear to test this.
