Car shaking
This morning on the way back from getting coffee, my 2016 E350 (76K miles) began to shake. First noticed driving along at 30mph. This did not happen on the way there. Then, with foot on brake at red light, it started to shake again. Drove home 1/4 mile and, in driveway, there was no shaking. Opened hood to see if engine was shaking but it was not.
Any guesses as to cause?

This sounds like an engine issue.
When was it last serviced?
Does engine need oil - See dipstick level?
Does this happen in Park or only Drive position?

There is some minor shaking when in Park but it is much more noticeable when driving fairly slowly. It almost felt like road imperfections but that was not the cause. While idling, I did notice some occasional engine changes. Tach does not show RPM drop or increase. Will check oil but car was dealer serviced a month ago.

Give dealer a chance to impress you... they are factory trained and know these cars extremely well inside and out.

1. Scan for any codes with a Mercedes-specific scanner. Don't waste time or money on a generic scanner.
2. What mode is your transmission in when this happens? E/C, S, etc.?
3. What engine do you have?
4. Have you checked the condition of your engine mounts?
