BBS Japan, forged RI-A type , ET45 will fit bigger Brembo calipers

If your W212 has the 4 pistons Brembo like mine for the front, unless the wheel spokes/fingers are curved outward, chances are aftermarket wheel at ET47 or even ET45, the caliper may hit the wheel/rim spoke/fingers.
Mine originally is AMG by Ronald, 8.5J x 18" ET48 front with 245/40 R18 tires. The rear is 9J x 18" ET54 with 265/35 R18 tires.
I bought the BBS CH-R, 8.5J x 18" ET47 all 4 , the spokes/fingers will hit the front Brembo caliper body by at least 2.8mm and hence I needed to use a 5 mm spacer.
BBS Germany website actually approved this size for W212 E400, but maybe they forgot to include Code 950 AMG Sports Package where I suspect is how and why I got the Brembo 4 pistons front calipers.
.
The touch point when not using spacer
Today I tested an RI-A forged wheel from BBS Japan, which is 8J x 18" ET45
.
The caliper clearance is very good, as this wheel model has its spoke/fingers shaped outwards.
I will be ordering this version, but at 8.5J x 18" ET 45

Minimum 8 months wait as BBS Japan is super back-ordered for their latest wheel the FI-R EVO model, this one : https://bbs-japan.co.jp/en/products/2178/
and while its hot, they reduce other wheel models production....Dughhh !!!!

Note : I will never go 19" wheels. At 18" I am already consuming 1 wheel per year, from bad road.
