Multiple, Intermittent Electronic Issues
Hi MBWorld,
Hoping someone can help with this…my 2016 E550 has had the following issues recently:
1. Active Lane Keeping Assist Inoperative & Active Blind Spot Assist Inoperative (always together)
2. Radio will turn on but no sound or won’t turn on at all with car
3. Active Headlamps Inoperative
In the case of #1 & #3 above, both alerts go off when I turn the car off then back on. If I turn the radio off and back on it works normally.
Any idea what the problem might be?

Since you have a 2016 E550, I assume you are in Canada?

The fastest way out of this predicament is by using a modern automated battery charger.
What's causing this happen is either:
old battery
drained while parked
drained by driving
or all together combined
FYI: Driving with "Headlights ON" forces a perfect 14.4V charge voltage.
Consider scanning your chassis to get a complete fault report.

Thanks ChuangTzu for your response. I don't think the temp is an issue as it's kept in the garage and the issues have been occurring since the summer.
