I was underneath the S212 today planning out my bearing replacement and inspecting the CV boots when I discovered tightly packed oil / dirt evenly covering the right side CV half (inner).
The oil dirt looks like it had been there for at least a couple thousand miles because last trip that I took was 12 hours thru the high desert and that was 5k miles ago.
Anyway, the engine mount is directly above the inner shaft and it was not easy to determine if it was leaking but she's at 130k miles and the original mounts which likely could be the cause.
How much oil is in one of those mounts? 100mL (4 oz.)
