2014 - W212.065 - E400 ( M276.820, 3 liter Turbo) RWD not Hybrid
I have not seen this test done :

Below is a dual check-valve specific to M276.8

This valve allows fuel vapor and crankcase fumes to enter intake manifold while engine is NOT in boosted mode.
While in boosted mode, the check-valve will prevent the boost from escaping to PCV system and Fuel Vapor system.
I have replaced mine due to super slow leak under boosted condition.

Read here : Post#79 https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post8849390

There is another pressure control device speific to only M276.8 turbocharger, but on the intake side ( cold ) and not like wastegate which is on the pressure side ( hot )
It is called bypass air switchover valve

Turbocharger boost leak path compilation : https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...leak-path.html

Now the exhaust system which one of the mechanic claimed as :
The passenger side seems much louder and a lot more air is coming out. The last mechanic I brought the car to told me that the drivers side exhaust is "too cold".
In Xentry the front wide band 02 sensors and the rear narrowband 02 sensors has exhaust gas temperture data.
See their thermal values, if there is much difference or not ?

Happy troubleshooting..........

@S-Prihadi This weekend i removed the diverter valve and it seems fine, in xentry the there seems to be very little temperature differences according to both exhausts gas temperature data. I will try to test the check valve for the fuel vapor and crankcase fumes you mentioned, probably next weekend.

I will not be able to do a WOT test anytime soon due to a lot of snow, hopefully i can report back some test values on this.

What do you think of the waste gate closing speed in the video i uploaded? Do your waste gates also do this?

Yes you are right, i want to first find out the issue i am having before i spend a lot of money on regular maintenance. If it ends up being the catalytic converter that alone would be about 4000$ Canadian. I would prefer trading in the car without making anymore investments in it.

Insane right! Everything is so much more expensive here. Going off topic here, but I wanted to order this of Amazon. An 8 pack costs roughly the same in the US as only 1 over here in Canada!

What do you think of the waste gate closing speed in the video i uploaded? Do your waste gates also do this?
Your video shows wastegate vacuum actuator operation using Xentry directional control...right ?
You must sync a second video showing you pressing the Xentry command, or you must shout ( audio ) the moment you do the Xentry command, otherwise there is
no reference point. If only by the video I am seeing and vacuum actuator pull action from first movement to maximum pull, that is normal speed.

The wastegate will close the moment the engine starts, not waiting for boosted condition.
During boosted condition, the wastegate will open only when ECM decided that is the boost level turbocharger is to be doing.

This is engine start and wastegate closing. Our boost control wastegate is a normally OPEN design, so it is safer.

Hi @Electronick,

It's been a while but I was able to do some additional testing on my E400. Maximum pressure on the intake manifold I was able to get o record was 1607 hPa (23 PSI) at low RPM (2.160) and high torque situation. However, my car goes into the 440 N.m on torques pretty easily. I wasn't able to record the published maximum value (480 N.m) but fuel quality in Brazil is pretty bad so the it could just be the knock control.

Thank you for the video. Yes, this is with the xentry command, and the wastegates opens immediately when I click the button. They look about the same to me when I time them together

Wow thank you @Andre Cateb ! Seems like my car is definitely under performing by a lot (without any codes). When the snow clears up I will do another WOT and make an attempt to drive another one if I find one for sale.
