Hi, car is c207 e350 cdi coupe 2009 with om642 231 hp engine (w212 threads might have more engagement). A year ago the check engine illuminated and it was diagnosed as a MAF sensor bank 1 miscommunication. It did not give any voltage, bank 2 was fine. Mechanic said that we should wait and see whether clearing the fault would solve anything but it reappeared. No symptoms in driving at that point. Then, few months later, with check engine still on, car started jerking, it would happen when cold and at low rpms. It would happen every few months. Fast forward to a month ago, engine oil was replaced on the car. After the oil change, car started jerking on every drive, rpms would fluctuate and the car would start smelling like unburnt fuel, when i'd manually shift down and the rpms increased it would stop. On one occasion, the idle which is usually at around 600 rpm, went up to 1200 and dipped back to 600 in 2 seconds. Now, the car rpms fluctuate even on crawling speeds when in reverse, also, what was one a powerful engine now struggles to accelerate after 70-80 kmh. The transmission even holds the revs for longer, it used to change gears on 1500 now it goes past 2200-2500 rpms.
If someone has had this happen to its engine, can you please tell me what you replaced. I plan to buy a new MAF, new MAP and a PCV. The thing is, MAF sensor for this car is crazy expensive from MB - 1500 eur. I was looking for some aftermarket replacements. Either VEMO or one company Engitech. I'm still hesitant if i should trust it. MAP would be BOSCH and PCV OE Mercedes.
Literally, and I mean literally any input is appreciated.
they have been cleaned, cant really swap them since the design does not allow it. unplugging the bad one does not give any change to the car, unplugging the good one causes the engine to change in sound and rpm

Good then!
Can you read the output data.
Compare voltage to make sure you're dealing with bad part and not bad harness/ECU.
Then you're good for a new Bosch or a used MB sensor.
Intake flaps can/do go bad and can restrict air flow meaning don't just rush at hanging more parts...
