E-Class E250 diesel acceleration issues
Drives perfectly, except if I put my foot down on the accelerator, the engine light comes on with the error number 254000.
I have all the fuel sensors, fuel line, filter and pump checked and some of them replaced, but the issue is still there.
If I drive normal, like an old man, everything is fine, and is been going like that for months, without problems.
The engine light, only comes on if I try to take off faster, but after a few starts and stopes, it goes off.
I know its a mechanical issues somewhere, but dont know where to look first.
Any suggestions?

Even if you "checked" this and the filter module, you might still need to replace it.
Are you saying that when you go from zero to full throttle in less than a second you get the code? Or are you saying that even when you take a few seconds to go from zero to full throttle you get the code?
My '05 E320 did not like to have the throttle stomped on: It would go into limp mode immediately. Given that the characteristics of driving a turbo diesel means that there is NO instant throttle response, I decided to drive it like it was made to be driven: Ease into the throttle, let the turbo spin up as I do so, and let the engine push me back into my seat as I slingshot in the direction I'm pointed.
In other words: Don't stomp on and floor it and expect it to be happy. Roll in, let the turbo keep up. Like it likes.
