What is this wire that is under the steering wheel?
Can anyone help with identifying what this wire is and what it does? My steering wheel is completely stuck in position (no tilt/telescope) and i cannot hear the motor trying so i know its not jammed. Im wondering if this wire has anything to do with why it wont function. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Your steering column is probably just minor stuck. Common.
Push or pull towards other direction where it is not maxed out.
By photo your steering column seems to be maximum IN. So operate the tiny adjustment electrical lever to make steering column goes OUT and use your hand to help free the stuck.
Sometimes need that lever to be activated a few seconds while you do the assisted pull and bang it a bit with ur hand.
Exercise the steering column once in a while or use the easy entry-exitwhere the steering column will move bit to make more room for you everytime you open your door
and remove key to exit or enter he car
