New 2 me 2016 e400
hello, just picked up a 2016 e400 and am kinda confused by the data sheet. would someone care to look up my data sheet and tell me if this is a blue efficiency for one. As well as some of the options seem odd to me.
Also what tunes are recommended? What are the goto mods for this unit? thank you for taking the time to read, and for anything you have for me. many blessings

AA. And then you ask : What services could have been neglected within this 9 years ? ( by all previous owner/s )
BB. And you ask again : How do I make my car last long and drive like new ?
When AA and BB been satiesfied, you experience the healthy car.....and then if you want to mod, do a civilized mod.
Depending on mileage, 9 years old car will need lots of love.....if the maintenance is only up to MB proper dealer level maintenance....which is hhhmmmm... way too long a fluid change interval.

Before you want to get more power from your powertrain you should concider maintenance of the coolant circuit. Perhaps you know about the dasboard temp display...
Turbo line are leakers.
Keep an eye on coolant tanks.
These stock engines running"MB Approved" can run hot with limited oiling below 3500.Rpm.
Oil at 5kMi.

I am not that type that likes to tune for more horsepower either.
Perhaps OP can look into the oil pump solenoid mod and ALT-LIN mod, as well better engine oil like Motul xcess gen-2 in 5W-40 (>> w50!)
The throttle will be so responsive, OP might not even need to tune it anymore.

Renntech is a reputable brand but thanks to twin turbo your M276 can definitely should be able to outperform any non turbo V8 cars so called muscle cars if you like . I can't blame the op for asking the tuning either

In the US, for the 20212 Model year only, gas powered mercedes with start/stop had the "blue efficiency" badge added to the front fender. I'm guessing it caused confusion with bluetec and that's why it was removed.

Those E400's haul ***. Just do maintenance it's very much faster than it has any right to be.. only mods I would do are Continental or Michelin tires. Amsoil for your oil changes if youll let me earn your business alphaeuropean.myamsoil.com
For tunes for this specific vehicle, Eurocharged. You'll pick up 115hp but it's gonna be hard on the transmission, mounts, and oil.
