Multiple trouble codes
2011 E350 threw a check engine light and had it checked at my reliable independent mechanic. Diagnostic pulled up a multitude of codes which befuddled my mechanic. Reset the CEL , but it came back on. I had previously reset the gas cap and also pulled the neg terminal on the battery......no luck. Wife believes it came on after a gas fill up which I suspected led to the gas cap and or the battery reset. Mechanic unable to work on car for at least a week.
What confuses me is the large number of codes that are present.....they are all over the place. At this point I am GUESSING ......oxygen sensor.... but a guess only considering the large number of codes .
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There are more MB favorites available:
rusted wheel sensors
cylinders lean misfires
camshaft sensors faults
The best way to prevent issues is with scheduled maintenance plus a battery tender to keep batteries charged up.

Seconding the battery tender comment! Without detailed codes shared, my knee-jerk for Christmas tree lights experience with MB’s is always going to be battery health issue

On a 2011 350 I would be amazed if the intake flaps are properly functioning. You can get an entire assembly from FCP Euro that's just bolt and go but it's $700 to turn off a light that may or may not annoy you

OK.....finally resolved the multiple DTC issue......turned out to be a short in the thermostat. Not easy tracing this down sensor by sensor as electrical problem always are.
So just providing same closure to the writeup.
