12V power outlet
2014 E350, the power outlets on the center console have different power output. The rear functions fully, but the front, (ashtray), will light items up but very, very, weak. It will not charge a cell phone, but the rear one has no issue. Is the power to the outlet different or is it the outlet it self? the only outlet I can find MB# 000-906-39-00, is listed for either location. What can I do to get the front outlet power up?

Is this 12V not enough to power a 5V USB charger?
It should be no issue for modern cell-phone chargers.

The front (ashtray) outlet is working, have not pulled a power reading however it will light up a plug in but it is very dim when used in the rear outlet it lights up bright. I guess my question really is: is the voltage to the front regulated differently than the rear or other outlets, or is the outlet socket the culprit?

Perhaps something is wrong with your outlet.
You can measure voltage to check its in range.
