Hesitation during downshifting stalling during upshifting
Few weeks prior to this issue someone backed up into my front bumper fairly lightly no actual damage but the ESC inoperable light went on, I shut the car off let it rest when I restarted it light was gone. A week or so later it feels like my car is struggling while shifting gears. When gas pedal is in use the rpms will reach up to 3000 rpm and I can physically feel the stall in the shift. When I let off the pedal I can feel the hesitation jerk of the downshift. should I try a transmission reset? Could it be a lingering issue of the ESC light? My car has never had any performance issues like this prior to this issue. any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Scan the whole car for active faults.
Make sure tranny still has oil following frontal impact

or you can get done oil from the radiator line-set
or directly from the drain-fill port.
