Brembo now offer its seal repair kit for 4 pistons Brembo and 1 piston ATE

If your car has 950 options, which is 4 pistons brembo, now you can buy the seal kit, but the important cross-over seal they still do not sell...bast-ardz.
For the 4 pistons of 344mm rotor, example E400 comes standard with 950 option for my country.

Without cross-over seal, don't open up the calipers. You can work without tearing up the calipers into 3 pcs.

This is the cross-over seal they do not sell
. Unique mushroom shape. 1 caliper uses 2 of these.

Happy servicing your now 11+ years old brake.

There are some on eBay too.

The ATE/Centric seal also should work in those calipers too, and is readily available…

Centric also makes seals for pistons too.
Not sure you can get FVP where you are, but they include the crossover seals in their kit.
Good Luck.

The quality is so so.
Full story is here : https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-overhaul.html

I typically ordered double the amount needed for cheap parts like that. For that very reason. You shouldn’t have to, but that’s the reality of getting a customer car out the door in a timely manner.
I do prefer the square cut style o-rings in that application. Being easier to manufacture, typically any deformation would be a non-issue under its compressed state. Even though they’re typically not like the ones pictured in your post above.
I’ve gotten them in caliper kits from Centric. But doubt they actually manufacture them. The Centric square cut o rings and seals were always pretty good, so ABS may manufacture (or source) those square cut ones themselves. They are probably not from Centric…
Biggest plus, is those square cut o-rings are used in industrial applications. So available at industrial o-rings stores. This also may give you some flexibility and control in materials which may help in longevity or applications where heat may be an issue, such as a car used on the track.
Anyone wishing to do a deep dive into materials/chemical compatibility this is a pretty good chart. It’s worth noting DOT5 brake fluid has its own set of compatibility issues.

I know you work in the Marine/Naval industry, so I’m.sure you know McMaster Carr:

couple of other specialty o ring stores here in the US (for those who need to source from US)

When I replaced them by early 2026, I am then all gold, all my 4 calipers then have new piston seal and dust boot.
Rubbers are rubbers, they will go bad when old.
============
I just checked something..... being a RHD car owner is a nightmare !!!!!
Ohhh no no no no, this can't be happening.
I am looking at brake master cylinder and brake booster drum, this is UN-REAL !!!!
DISCONTINUED ??????
.
No alternative P/N given !!
How can this be, this car is only 11 years old.
----------------
Let see LHD cars E350 W212.059 , M276.9 engine. 804 is year 2013, means facelift. It is available.
Good, year 2009 which means M272 is available
Blo-ody bast-ard, MB is being an azz for RHD cars lower sales volume.

I need to check with MB Indonesia, sometimes discountinued products are available when certain combined ordering quantity worldwide hits the minimum QTY.
The date of availability willl be unknown, could take 6 months or more, sometimes 3 months only, depending on your luck.
One of my timing chain was such case, I forgot left or right side, I needed to wait till indent quantity reached 5 pcs, only then MB germany will "make" it. How cheapo !!!!
.

-There is the: We haven’t stocked nor has the part been ordered in a few years, but available in germany and we can ship it.
-There is the: We haven’t stocked nor has the part been ordered in a few years , but it can be manufactured for you in germany. Might take a while (and we may need an order for 10 before we start making it again)
-Then there is the: We’ll never make this part again (and you’ll need to source from the OEM supplier or rebuild)
As you mentioned, only way to find out for sure is to talk to your local Mercedes parts department, hopefully you have a reliable contact there….
Also MB changed the US website a while back and many parts that were back ordered now default to discontinued.

Plan B:
I usually sleeve masters cylinders for restorations and discontinued parts on cars that are worth keeping. If you don’t have access to honing equipment, lathes and mills,
White Post has been doing them for years and used to be a pretty reliable source. I know they changed owners a while back. Also Apple Hydraulics is reliable, they BOTH do boosters too. There are other places that offer this service. There are also choices in material, bronze or stainless sleeves depending on who does your sleeving.
https://whitepost.com/brake-sleeving...ding-services/
https://www.applehydraulicsonline.com
You maybe able to find someone local to you in Indonesia, as this is a fairly typical procedure for industrial hydraulics too.
Sleeving should extend service life of the master cylinder too.
Cheers.

that is good news. Its always good to see machining service in 1st world countries
Let see what MB Indonesia will tell me next week on the master cylinder.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I hope they wont come back in 30 days and tell me this part is no more in production, that is what they did for my brake vacuum hose item #250.
Minimum 60 days wait. OK, me dont need it anyway, but will need to keep it as back up just in case MB stop selling it at 15th year of my car age.
So I guess USA MB server does not keep track of RHD car parts and deemed such parts as DISCONTINUED.
I am going to vacuum pack this brake master cylinder to remove air moisture , like how we do meat
.It may be in use only 5 more years ? So best keep it in good shape long keeping.
------
I tried again this year, for my vacuum hose for brake booster, this is really confirmed NO MORE IN PRODUCTION-PERIOD !!!

Item #250. tried last year in 2024, they stated No More In Production ......but after 30 days wait for a promised 60 days delivery.
.

What happen to you engine oil pump ? or is it the AUX oil pump for tranny ?

I’d bet it may be cheaper too…
Hopefully the Master is still available, but if it’s not, that’s a better route to take anyways.
Good Luck

30% total import duty including post office admin fee yada yada...so cheap.
.
The bleeder cap probably won't fit, as the one MB uses is fat.

Well, it’s cheaper than importing from Latvia to US

100% with Harbor Maintenance Fee (HMF) and Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF)
