Hello, 2 days ago we hooked up the car to diagnostics and noticed that the voltage that was displayed there with the engine running was 12.7, then I measured it with a multimeter and again with the car running 12.6-12.8V. Today I removed the dynamo and saw that the brushes were worn out completely, I bought a new original Valeo brush holder, replaced it, reassembled the car and now it charges less than before, that is, it doesn't even charge, it shows 11.8-12 V and my battery light on the dashboard came on which was not lit before. I see that they write in many places that there is something on the negative terminal of the battery that was burning, but how can I check if it is healthy in my case? Before I started removing the dynamo, I disconnected the negative terminal from the battery so that it wouldn't become a problem and then I tightened it tightly and alas, it became worse than it was.
