Hi!
My brother has a 2010 W212 E350 CDI.
After loosing turbo pressure and going into limp mode we saw that fuse 24 was blown.
It also had a problem with glow relay, because the light on the dashboard intermittently came on.
Tracked the problem to the swirl valve motor. Change both that and the glow relay.and the turbo actuator.
After that the car started to run with a severe stutter at 1500-2000 rpms. We diagnosed the car and the
ETG before turbo showed from -3000 Celsius to +2000 Celsius. Replaced the ETG sensor and it is
all the same. Same values. When sensor is unplugged the car runs fine. Is the ECU damaged?
Any suggestions?

Lets try the standard way: use a comprehensive scanner to check your chassis.Originally Posted by StanX

Your ECU is totally cooked... perhaps a few circuits are not running.
Lets see what list of fault descriptions come up.
Give us a LIST of past maintenance and current issues to understand what's missing.
Thanks for the reply.
No codes when etg before turbo is plugged in!!!
The stuttering is mostly due to the egr valve.
It opens to 100% probably trying to save the engine when
etg goes too high. It also feels like it cuts fuel at the same time. Undrivable. Forgot to mention the egr valve is also replaced.
We will take it to an ecu expert.

Hopefully the choice of ECU shop pans out...Originally Posted by StanX

else seek a local MB diesel specialist.
Your exhaust may have high back-pressure.
