2011 E550 Sedan W212 Issues. Need any advice or help.
In advance thanks for any advice or help!
I have a 2011 E550 w212 pfl sedan that has a few annoying issues. I’ll try to tackle one at a time for now. Thank you for any help or advice in advance.
- ambient lighting
- Bluetooth head unit module
- reverse camera
Ambient Lighting-
to start off the ambient lighting on all 4 door cards and the center dash trim doesn’t illuminate.
It used to work but stopped working shortly after doing an MBTools coding for Amg menu and Agility/Manual mode for the car.
I’m not sure if that had something do with the malfunction of the ambient lighting. I’ve checked all fuses and replaced. No luck.
When I had used my Gearwrench scanner to try and actuate the ambient lighting it did actually turn the lighting under the center dash trim on but would turn right off again once stopped actuating.
I’m under the impression the LIN signal is faulting and that maybe it needs an SCN coding to be fixed.
Should I go to dealer for that or try getting it done remotely from someone with xentry or the necessary software needed?
