I am experiencing the same noise that @Krister posted in July 2022 in exactly the same spot. I read through that thread and a related February 2023 thread with a post from @CycleFamous that describes how to remove the carpet backing from the 2nd row seat in order to fix the rattle.
I thought I was following the directions by using "a flat head screw driver to gently push down into the seam and then pry back," per that post. However, other than bending whatever holds the bottom of the seat and carpet backing together, I was unable to do more without fear of damaging the underlying bracket permanently. The attached photo shows the very minor damage I already did before I abandoned this process.
Does anyone have more precise directions or a video I can watch to learn how to open up the bottom of the seat-back in order to insert some type of noise dampening material, such as a microfiber cloth?
I appreciate the additional guidance.
