W212 Facelift ISM Drawings
My first post, I've read a few threads about Cars being stuck in park etc. Ive Inherited this problem.
W212 2014 Facelift 2.2diesel
Im looking for the electrical drawings so I can chase and measure the CAN V for ISM module A80. I assime its in the footwell ! Connector x30/21.
Also fuse 74 rear Sam Is blowing. I kmow its headlights and Keyless go. Can anyone kindly provide some drawing so I can eliminate the short. I think its the lighting module. TBC.

You can save time with your ISM=OFF
It is doing its job staying locked without drive authorization.
No Keyless... No EIS... No ISM... No go!
> The No1 Question...
What short circuit is blowing the fuse that keeps Keyless down... ??
Footwell carpet wet??
The outside lights control is managed by both SAM modules.
The light selector near driver is a low power module to set SAMs across CAN-Bus.
> SHORTCUT... SCAN!
The results from a chassis scan would help you see what's happening - Tracing many odd voltages is not desirable up front. This chassis is fully computerized: get live logs.

> GET DRIVING...
Have you tried inserting smart key directly in ignition slot ??
This bypasses the need for Keyless module running.
QUICK STEPS:
- Scan chassis for active status.
- Identify short-circuit location
- disconnect bad circuit or cut wiring
- Should allow Keyless to work EIS/ISM.
These steps limits time spent on diagrams instead of fixing the car itself.

Also the footwell,I know there is some CAN connectors there. Can easily check them out and measure the votlages of the comms.

Try this... fuse-box.info
(
KeylessGo and misc
Go ahead and unplug the few devices in question
then measure ohm or try your luck with a smaller fuse (supposedly nothing in circuit)

I wonder if the fuse blowing and the gear stuck in park are related.
Will try the footwell CAN conector. x30/21 i think. Was hoping for the exact diagram so can confirm the wiring for the ISM unit it ok.

Q1: Yes - Failed drive authorization prevents ISM from enabling gearbox PRND shifts.
Q2: you just need a scanner to work with ISM, located all the way under the car.
