I agree, than MB is going to BMW way to make all cars look identically, It a little bit complicate to find a car of parking lot of a big mall. but still no one has doubt you drive MB

Introduction of the new E class in my country the Netherlands :D
|
The outside looks like a 1980's Ford Taurus. I hope it looks better in person. Because the picture is of a DOWDY looking car. Plus I read in Car and Driver that the standard engine will put out less that 250 HP. No thanks.
The new E is all about the interior (very nice) and the electronic driver aids and computing power. The engine is secondary. This is not my idea of a car. I guess I'm a "driver" not a passenger. |

It's 150lbs lighter than the 2016 E-Class. It has the same 273 lbt/ft torque (aka acceleration) output that the 2016 model has, and I'm hearing its 0-60 may be 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version. It has a new 9-speed transmission with faster and more aggressive gear shifting.
The idea that this is an "under-powered" vehicle is pretty silly. |

I'd like it better if this existed, as I'm not the biggest fan of the grill logo...unless it's on a REAL AMG.

It's very obvious they are unifying designs like BMW has been doing. I was expecting this to happen after the awful (my opinion) 2014 facelift with the W212, when they took away the 4 headlight's and joined them together, and gave the sport line that generic grill, I knew things were headed in this direction. Although I do like the W213 better because of it's smoother looking body and the sport line isn't overly aggressive looking. |
Hood not closed fully...
The red car in the photo doesn't need a hood adjustment, it just needs to have the hood fully closed. I see this all the time and it is simply the hood latch not fully engaged. If you open the hood, and close it with a bit more force or by pressing precisely on each of the two latches, the hood closes fully and this gap disappears.

You mean the grill logo that got its start on the SL back in the 50s, long before AMG (and the sudden waves of entitlement that it apparently brings) existed?
Owned. |

Really? It seems like C450 "AMG" owners have a lot in common, you love to insult the more elegant Mercedes-Benz fans. Why should you care if I want my car to look a certain way? |

I love AMG, but it seems that MB has given them a lot of influence on their cars these days, I liked it better when AMGs were more exclusive and rare. |
I love seeing the star on the hood while driving. That's the classic MB experience!
