You are near to be right. You can't even call for a road side assistance. More likely you will die without food and water, very dangerous.

Different design; same function. No big deal.

I never use my back pockets. Putting something in there only makes you look like you have a lump on your ***.

Only front pockets and coat pockets. Keys and wallet stay in there.

Even then. Just a touch too old school for me.

Plus I don't know why manufacturers feel compelled to create keys the size of cell phones (and in case of BMW's huge Display key where the battery only lasts as long as a phone and needs to be charged like it).

At least the ancient metal keys used to be flat and small...

Same here...Bulge in the front looks better than bulge in the back

My Murano has a dummy key holder right below the push to start button. I rarely use it the few times that I drive it since it is my wifes DD. She rarely uses it either.

idea of a keyless go car is to avoid digging in you pocket and dropping your keys and damaging it especially when its raining or worse drop it in a puddle.

also with my old cars, a few times ive dropped the key when im about to stick it in the the ignition and too dark to see where i dropped it only to find it almost under the seat after i turn the lights on and open my door. so now all my cars have keyless go and life couldnt be easier.

now...
1) whats the point of having a nice key if you dont even take it out of your pocket?
2) that new key looks "plasticky" from that photo btw. looks like a toy you get for free from a cereal box.
im sure it looks better in person but still goes back to my #1 point...

Personally, I love the Keyless Go. I couldn't care less what the key looks like, and would prefer to have an option for a wallet card, or phone-based key. I hate getting in my wife's car and going 'oh, right, insert key'. Tapping the button, dropping the lever to D and rolling away is fantastic. Stopping the car is even more so. Come to a stop. Push the brake a little harder, push the button on the dash, open the door, tap the handle, walk away.

I hate the wheel mounted shifter and the lack of separate stalks for wipers and turn signal.

It's not your idea, has been on agenda of several car manufacturers for a while. BMW 7 series also already has this feature for several months now. Mercedes has it planned for W213 too.

I have the idea from time when first smart phone appeared. But anyway I was joking, I couldn't invest to implement it that time.

I thought that at first too, but it's an automatic transmission. Seems like a waste of center console space to mount a shifter there. Wipers are auto rain sensing, so why have a separate stalk for that? Especially since many vehicles have the wiper settings on the turn signal stalk.

I hate BMW center console shifter. Each time I switch wipers on instead of putting it in a park. I do not understand why car makers do such controls design preventing drivers easily switch for one car to other. Never own both BMW and MB, it will bring you in chaos.

yeah.....coz thats the main goal of ALL car manufacturers, to make transition easier for people to jump from one car brand to another.

and people complain about MB having all their cars look the same. now this guy wants ALL car brands to be the same.
