German Car Configurator opened!!
MB recently updated e class configurator for Germany. For anyone curious with the gadgets and new features of w213 can now check german configurator for further details.

Some of the W213 pricing is crazy.
Their Intelligent Drive Pro package costs a staggering 12,300 Euros!
It only consists of COMAND Online, Histrionic Plus, MULTIBEAM LED, Park-Package, Head-up-Display, Mirror-Package, inductive charging for smart phones
I just loaded up a E350 D model (59k Euros base to over 100K with options)
Their Intelligent Drive Pro package costs a staggering 12,300 Euros!

Buying a premium car in Europe is damn expensive,prices are higher than yours due to base price and VAT...trust me you're lucky to live in the US( being a carahoolic)

VAT makes a big difference since US sales taxes are always lower but our S-Class pricing was very similar to Germany (when VAT was deducted)

The 30% fall in the Euro has reduced the huge gulf that hitherto existed in usa/Europe car pricing. For those of us who live outside both continents, the appeal of buying a car from the US and exporting it to our home countries has diminished, For me it's actually more attractive to buy a car built to my spec from Europe. In some cases it's actually cheaper from Europe
