I have a 2008 Mercedes E350...I was hit and ran the other night. I'm trying to figure out will they fix
it or total loss it. It's leaking fluids and my driver door won't open.

Somebody stole a car. My car was parked in front of my house and it's a slight curve. I don't know if they were drunk or just driving to fast. The left their stolen van, hoped out and ran!! smh
shizer! that's awful.........hopefully there's no frame damage and nothing wrong with the engine, of course hard to say from the pic......but you def have some good *karma* headed your way huh?

Well look at the one and only bright side at least you and your loved ones weren't in the car some one could of been hurt. You can always replace a car but your health is something you can never buy back.
If i was you i'd look up prices of similar models same options /km-miles/year and see what they are going for print those sheets with the options and price and have 3-4 so at least if they low ball you they might move up in price if you show them the value of one now. (make sure you save the links so if they ask you can just pull them up right away)
I can say I did that with my accident and it got me a few thousand more because of that, better to be ready for the news than not.

Right, I could've been worse. I'll get another Benz if they do. My mechanic said actual cash value will be about 9k....Here in Maryland 75% of actual cash value they will total loss it. I had a minor fender bender 2 years, you could barely notice and the bumper work was $3200 so I an only imagine what this repair will be and then I don't know where the leak is coming from. My husband thinks the radiator. smh

I would also bet that it's totaled. On the bright side, the car wouldn't be the same after being fixed from a crash anyway so you're better off with a similar or newer replacement.
My advice, when the insurance company gives you the final dollar amount for the value of the totaled car, you bring up the taxes plus title costs and insist that they add that into the final number (since you paid for that on your previous car, it's only reasonable that it's covered for your replacement)

Wow....Good advice. He is coming at 9am today. It's crazy because from the passenger side it doesn't even looked damaged...LOL
I mean it is always possible but it does not look like a total loss to me. But it would definitely render it as a salvage vehicle if in fact the insurance decides to fix it. All (for the most part) you would need is a new front bumper - a/c condensor - radiator - grille - left headlight - left fender and hood. Thats pretty much it. But these things are always a toss up, of course all depends on the current market value of your vehicle. Good luck.
Yup....the driver's airbag deployed plus it happened 200 miles north of Montreal and it would have cost the insurer (so I was told) a couple of thousand simply to get the car back to New York or Vermont.
