Just picked up a 2016 E 250 BlueTec
Hey guys, thrilled to see a forum such as this. I bought a 2016 E 250 BlueTec yesterday and i couldn't be happier. Im coming from a 2015 Lexus and the E Class is way more solid and composed on the road. And i absolutely love the 369 lb ft of torque which kicks in at only 1600 rpm . Just tinted it today as well.
Exterior: Selenite Grey Metallic
Interior: Black / Grey MB Tex

I have a fairly long commute , but the main reason i bought it was because i operate a diesel refinery, and ill be filling up maybe once or twice a month for practically nothing. I never have to see another gas station again.

Haha nice, free diesel! Are you thinking of putting some new wheels? I am also looking at the E250 and the stock 17s are a little small methinks. I wonder how the black 19" E63 AMG wheels would look...

Thanks
Yes i am, i want to get the 18s that come on the E350, the ones witht the same design as the 17s. Im enjoying the plushness of the vehicle and 19s would stiffen up the ride. But before i think about the wheels i want to lower the car, either springs or coilovers but i cant find anything for the 2016.
Im thinking about a lot of mods, its just when i start there is no end, so i might just stay stock with this one.

Beautiful car, and perfect color combination!
This is unfortunately posted in the wrong section. Your car is the W212 model, not the brand new W213.

Yeah, that is confusing. I wonder if they set up with forum when there was still a possibility of the W213 coming out as a 2016 model. But it will debut in 2017.

That's the ticket! Assuming you're at least somewhat familiar,if not very familiar, with diesels you won't be surprised when, after you get a few miles on the clock, you can easily get 40...45...or even 50mpg at 70mph.And the punch you get when you brush the accelerator is fun too.My first diesel,a 2009 BMW, featured 425 foot pounds of torque a 1600rpm!

I don't have it anymore.I totaled it (at 7mph...long story) when it had about 25K on the clock. It was pretty reliable...didn't have any major trouble. It did have a problem with the DEF system and once failed a state emissions test and,as a result, the dealer had to keep it for a week or so.A very nice car for sure...beautifully suited for long trips with cruise control set at 70mph.
