Most interesting commentary was from MB's Michael Kelz, chief engineer, re: the electrical architecture, head unit and driver-assistance systems giving them the most concerns during development. The electrical/electronic systems are the most problem prone for all manufacturers. Be interesting to see how this plays out for MB over the next several years. I could foresee lots of recalls, TSB's, etc. for the first year or two.
Apparently if you have the Drive Pilot system in the US, the system matches speed to that shown by GPS. If you want to exceed speed limit, you push up on Cruise Control stalk. Currently if you push up on cruise, it sets the speed or accelerates? Another change to get used to.
