Test Drove the 2017 E300
Hey all,
I am mostly in the GL forums but just recently I got a new E300 for couple days while the GL was in service for electronic issues and my goodness it was great. The ride was very smooth and the sport and sport + mode is definitely noticeable in throttle response. I like the idea of the "smart" thumb pads on the steering. It took some time to getting used too. Overall, great experience and seemed like a mid-size S-class.
Here is my drive on it.
I might post a video of it driving on Eco mode later.
Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for sharing. It should be 2017 E300, not 2016.
Personally I feel there are tons of buttons/controls that do the same thing. Not that it's bad, but it's kind of confusing for my parents.

I love the 2017 E300. Huge improvement over the W212 I have no doubt. However the Engine is awful for a car this size. Only real downfall to the car. Also, you have to order it with a leather dash because it does not look right without it I think.

I forgot to mention is that When I had this, I was looking for 12v power outlet for the radar, but it was replaced with a USB port due to it having the NFC package, which is a bummer. Looks like people who has that package but has a radar must do a hard wire at this point. I really feel like a 12v needed to be there, but I can understand the USB being a power source now.

Thanks for the catch! Unfortunately I can't really change the title, so I'll take fault for that.

Yeah I knew that when I was test driving it, but the problem is that it would stretch the power cord for my Max 360. A 12v extender is needed which will look terrible.
