Anyone know how long it generally takes MB to manufacture an E300 once a production date is set? Also, when finished, how long does it generally take to ship from Germany to US eastern port?
Any feedback/info will be much appreciated.

I'm not sure about total manufacturing time. Final assembly shouldn't take long. Shipping is the time consumer. A car may wait a couple of weeks at the port before it is actually loaded on a RORO carrier. Next, the ship can have several ports of call before arrival at "your" port. My worst case shipping involved 7 port calls and 8 weeks between Germany and Florida. Then a few more days in the vehicle processing center and 2 days for US Customs. YMMV

I've never had a car shipped 4 days after assembly and delivered within 3 weeks. Your experience was not nominal. The timing was exquisite and a result of fortuitous happenstance.

My 2013 E550 was produced on Oct 16, 2012 and delivered to me on November 9, 2012. Must have the stars aligned for me. .😀

Our time frame was very similar. We were told they take 3 days to build. Placed on the boat quickly. We didn't have any additions to be added once it was in port in the US, so it was placed on a transport quickly. We got ours the Friday before Thanksgiving and weren't expecting it until a week later.

We are in the Midwest. P3, 2nd screen, 4Matic.

We ordered ours on July 1st, so it was a long wait. Once production started though, it came quick.
