Yet (sarcasm now), MB goes to the trouble of having a heated armrest and heated console covers as standard, or optional equipment .
Your arms should not be on either of those places during spirited driving, but on the steering wheel !
I feel exactly as you do about this, Roger. I also had the 2010 E550 which was a dream machine in so many ways. I love my E43 but I really miss the heated steering wheel. I didn't even bother to look for it as I considered it a no-brainer that it be included with the enhanced heat package.

Am a new mb user and am confused about the stop n go. I used to have an Audi A6 and the stop and go icon always show in the cluster when is not ready says unavailable n when ready turns green.
sinece I had this car I have NEVER seen the icon on the cluster neither has the car stopped when I get to a red light. I want to know if the icon doesn’t show in this amg but will stop when I get a red light. The indicated A is lit green but the car never stops. So I want to know if the stop n go is faulty or something else could b causing it not to stop. Any help and thanks

.
There several conditions (iirc 18) that must be met for the start/stop to kick in. Some of the items I recall are coolant temperature and oil temperature. I'm in Florida and the AC is usually enough to keep it from kicking in. There are several topics here that discuss the requirements.

when the A is yellow, it means the conditions arent met. When it is met - it should show a green A.

Mercedes E220d AMG Line Estate (S213) and Mercedes E220d AMG Line Cabriolet (A238)
Even in Germany there is NO heated option for flat bottomed AMG Line (Sport i think in US) cars. If you want heated then the wheel becomes round. Very bizarre. For interest in UK they never had it on the option list and the enhanced seat heating package stopped in Jan 18, along with ventilated seats, heated windscreen and heated rear seats. So much for luxury, especially when you get can any option you want on 5 series...
