Navigation route question

Just picked up my 2017 E yesterday. I have a navigation question. After programming a destination, how can you see what route the car is proposing to take? My SLK has a "route browser" that will list each street leading to the destination but I can't find anything like this in the E. The salesman didn't know how to access this feature, I can't find it in the manual and, when I called MB customer service they didn't know. Can't believe they omitted this so you're just supposed to blindly follow the navigation system with no idea how it's taking you.

.
The online interactive E Class manual shows how to display the route overview.

From the guide:
Route overview

You can use the route overview to move along the active route section by section and view information and details about each section of the route.

You can see information relevant to the section of the route, such as the length of the road section you will be driving along and the road name. The highlighted route section is marked in white with a red border on the map.

Do you have a link for the 2017 online interactive E Class manual?

Thanks, but that appears to be the same as the printed manual that came with the car. There's no mention of "route overview" that I can find.

I have the same problem. My 2014 e class had a route browser that would show you the route. I cant find it on the 2017. The guy at the dealer said for me to go to shift to the right and hit routes and it will show the route list. But that didn't work either. terrible navigation system. Also, the points of interest are missing a ton of destinations. They didn't even have a car dealer from the next town over from me in the system that has been there for 20 years.

I have the P3 package and I can't seem to find the "route overview" option. In the interest of safety, I'm not allowed to see many details or enter address while the car is moving.
For those who're interested, use the rotary dial to zoom out the map view. At least you can see the entire mapped route, albeit without the street names. It's better than any other convoluted method that MB currently implemented in the system.

Germans just cannot do as well when it comes to electronics compared to the American and Japanese makers. Germans want to reinvent the wheel and make things unnecessarily complicated. My Porsche Macan is just as bad if not worse!

My BMW nav is excellent. I've never had an issue with it.
